25/26 SEASON AUDITIONS ARE ALMOST HERE!

MCT AUDITION PROCESS

Experience is not required to play a role at MARATHON COMMUNITY THEATRE! Any experience is nice, even if it was years ago as an elf in an elementary school holiday pageant, but it is not required. Age doesn’t matter either, as long as you can look the character’s age on stage - because in our theatre age is just a matter of make-up! If trying out for a musical, you must be able to carry a tune and dance a bit.

Experienced or not, our MCT volunteers will guide you through the fun and easy audition process, which consists of auditions:

It is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing and contributing to the arts and cultural life of the Middle Keys community. As one of the oldest Community Theaters in Florida, MCT has been "Keeping Drama On Stage Since 1944!"

SYNOPSIS:   

In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”

SYNOPSIS: This classic comedy opens on a friendly card game in the untidy apartment of divorced Oscar Madison. And if the mess is any indication, it’s no wonder that his wife left him. Late to arrive is Felix Ungar, who has just been separated from his wife. Fastidious, depressed, and none too tense, Felix seems suicidal, but as the action unfolds, Oscar becomes the one with murder on his mind when the clean freak and the slob ultimately decide to room together.

Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

 SYNOPSIS:   In 1944 Greenwich Village, Susan Hendrix, a blind yet capable woman, is imperiled by a trio of men in her own apartment. As the climax builds, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller’s chilling conclusion.
