MCT's 2026 CHILDREN'S Summer Theatre Program is accepting applications. Please note that there are a limited number of slots - first come, first served.

The 2026 MCT Children’s Summer Theatre program will run June 01 - July 6, 2026, 

with main stage shows on Friday July 10, Saturday July 11 and a matinee show Sunday July 12, 2026.

Classes will be held on Monday’s and Wednesday’s, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

The curtain call for the performances will be at 6:00 p.m., and 1 p.m. for the matinee. Kara Pascucci and Stephanie Zajac will be co-directing the 2026 Children’s Summer Theatre Program. 

The production this summer will be TBD

MCT Children’s Summer Theatre activities touch on theatre basics, including but not limited to stage direction, terminology, auditioning, and the production process. Programming is designed for the beginner as well as the experienced student actor. All activities are designed to develop imagination, concentration, character, professionalism, technique and to strengthen the student’s command of his/her body and voice. All participants will be cast in the 2026 MCT Children’s Summer Theatre production as a stage performer, a non-stage crew member and/or both. 

All classes and performances will take place at the Marathon Community Theatre, located at 5101 Overseas Highway (MM49.5 Oceanside), Marathon, FL 33050.

Age: This program is for students age 6 to 18.

Program Fees: This is a 6-week summer program with a cost of $150.00 per attendee. This fee includes two complimentary performance tickets for the parent/guardians to use for the main-stage performances in July, all educational materials and costuming. Please note that participants may be required to supply their own personal footwear for costuming as needed.  Refund Policy: There are no credits or refunds.
