MARATHON COMMUNITY THEATRE AUDITIONS FOR SUMMER READING

Marathon, FL (June 16, 2008) — Marathon Community Theatre (MCT) will hold auditions for the Summer Reading on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and June 22, beginning at 10 a.m. in the gallery at the theatre.

Queen of Bingo, written by Jeanne Michels and Phyllis Murphy, is scheduled for four performances on Friday and Saturday, July 25 and 26 and August 1 and 2. The production will be performed in the gallery and tickets are $10 per person.

Whether you have experience or not, everyone is welcome and given the same opportunity to audition. Many of our performers have come to us with no prior experience. Auditioning can be fun. Bring a friend and be prepared to read a portion from the script.

Membership at MCT is not necessary to audition; however, due to insurance and liability requirements, membership is required to join a cast or crew or volunteer. Membership fees are $10/annually for individuals; $15/annually for a family, and $5/annually for students under 18.

Marathon Community Theatre is a 501(C-3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to contributing to and enhancing the cultural life of the Middle Keys.
